Hi everyone,
We are new ot forum. I have a 3 yr old brown tabby cat. I adopted her 2 months ago. She had a good mommy at her other home but a very very nasty daddy. He threatened to shoot her so her mommy called the local shelter and asked them if they would take her. Of course they said yes. The nasty man threatened to shoot her again in the shelters parking lot. Thnakfully the shelter lady heard him and went out and saved her.
I went looking for a kitty and when I saw Lucy in her cage all scared in the corner I took her out. She nuzzled up against my neck and began to purr. I knew then that she was coming home with me. I have changed her name to Lucy. Her other name was tiger but I felt she needed a new name for a new begining. She weighs 13lbs. She is a big boned girl, and a very very vocal cat. She follows me around the house chattering loudly. She loves belly rubs, and window watching. She is a sweet girl.
I have owned cats before and I have also done fostering for local shelters.
